I have been an entrepreneur since 1976 starting my first business as a Jewelry Consultant. In 1993 I started my own printing design company, Design Line Desktop Publishing out of the sheer pleasure of designing flyers and anything printed. That business went from my first paying customer to over 400 customers.
In 2005 the opportunity to be in the Travel Industry came into my life. The thought was merely to be able to travel wholesale instead of retail, but when my first client booked a group cruise through my Agency, I was hooked. I started part-time, and along the way I have earned many top credentials and awards to include the IATAN credential, the top in the travel industry, along with the ACC, MCC, and ECC credentials through Cruise Line International Association. In addition, I have earned many certifications through cruise lines and travel suppliers. During my tenure, I have developed training courses to train others, and was recognized by my peers as The Travel Guru!
In 2011, I "fired my Boss" to become my Boss, so I could work full time as my business continued to grow. In 2017 I went independent to own my own Agency, and now, 20 years later, I have developed a successful and lucrative Travel Agency. My motto is "Sending the Nation on Vacation" because I believe life is too short to not take a deep breath and smell the roses in a destination outside of your community!
